This Fleurie wine has an intense amaranthine/purple colour with garnet reflections. The nose offers a perfect alchemy between light, floral notes of Peony and intense aromas of red berries. The mouth reveals raspberry fruit and silky tannins offering good ageing potential.
Grapes
100% Gamay, handpicked and sorted, 1.2ha vineyard with steep slopes of sandy/granite soil up to a metre in depth. 60% whole bunch fermention. To extract more body, colour and tannins the maceration lasts about 20 days in wooden barrels covered by a “chapeau grillé”. 8-9 months vat ageing.
